Hamac — brand
The visual identity of Hamac: logo files, their generator, the brand charter, and the funding marks every public Hamac material must carry. This repository is the source of truth. Other repositories (Hamac itself, documentation, slides) keep copies of the files they need and record which commit of this repository they came from.
The charter itself, charte-hamac.pdf, is written in French. It is built by CI,
published to the forge's package registry
(https://forge.ocamlpro.com/OSS/-/packages/generic/hamac-brand/latest), and
locally with make.
Using the logo
Pick a file from logo/:
| File | Use |
|---|---|
hamac-logo-horizontal-{clair,sombre}.{svg,png} |
default: headers, banners, slides — clair on light backgrounds, sombre on dark ones |
hamac-logo-vertical-*.svg |
square or tall formats: covers, posters |
hamac-symbole-*.svg |
the symbol alone, when the name is already written next to it or space is short: favicon, icon |
*-mono-noir, *-mono-blanc |
single-colour printing, engraving |
hamac-avatar-512.png |
forge, GitHub and social avatars |
Do not redraw, recolour, stretch or rotate the logo; the charter lists what is
allowed. The name is written Hamac; the command and packages stay
lowercase (hamac, hamac-manifest).
Use of the name and logo is governed by the trademark policy.

make check # logo/ must be exactly what _src/ produces; no typst warning
